I have had the unique experience of attending the majority of Mr. Nicklaus’ grand openings or site inspections of his 26 golf courses in Mexico over the past few decades.
Besides being one of the greatest golfers ever in the world, he has a creative eye for his golf course designs as a player strategist.
He was also favored with great land sites to build his Signature designs in Mexico.  He always said that Cabo del Sol had the best three finishing holes in the world.  For many years, he has had the top-rated golf courses in Mexico, as all of his 26 courses are in the top 40.
